He's not a professor. He's a grinder who figured it out.
In 2007 the market crashed and took his construction company with it. Weeks from going under. Bad credit, no connections, no money. What saved him was a friend who understood how the federal government actually buys, and was willing to explain it.
What he found made him angry. The information wasn't hard. It was hoarded. Friends of his lost businesses the government would happily have paid them to keep running, if anyone had told them how to ask.
"When I won a $4 million contract, I quit traveling and started sharing everything I learned."
He founded Evankoff Construction in 2007: steel erection, building airplane hangars for federal agencies. In 2017 he pointed a camera at himself and started giving away 99% of what he knew for free. That became the GovCon Giants brand. The nonprofit behind it, GovCon Giants Inc, was incorporated later and is a 501(c)(3); today GovCon Giants is a podcast, a training platform, and an AI market intelligence tool called Mindy. The stated goal: help 200 companies reach $5 million each: a billion dollars of impact.
